FIRST ARENACROSS of 2010-11

Hey!

I just had my first Arenacross race this year at Clark County Fair grounds. I had raced in two classes, the 450 C and Before the Hill B/C. My bike problems hindered me from placing in any of my races. I had good starts all night and was really impressed with how I rode when my bike wasn't acting up. I just could not put together a solid moto.

MoxieMx had picked up 36 children and asked all the MoxieMX riders to sponsor a child for Christmas. I sponsored an 11 year old boy named Bobby. He arrived with his mother bright eyed and eager for the night of racing. It was his first race and he seemed to really enjoy it. They wanted to know when and where I would be racing in the future so they would be able to watch again. I'm sure next time they will be a little more prepared for the cold(lol), as everyone that came with me seemed to be a little on the chilly side ;)

My plans as of now are to go to the second event in Pasco, WA which will be held on Jan. 7th and 8th you can find the schedule at whrmotorsports.com. I have a lot of work to do to get my bike ready and prepare myself. I feel more than capable of being a top competitor in the classes I plan to enter this year so wish me luck!

I want to say thanks to MoxieMX for organizing this event and helping our community in a positive way. Even with the bad moto turn out it was still (in 12 years of racing) one of the funnest and most memorable to me. I also want to say thanks to Wrenegads Bar and Grill for helping me with my entry fees and with the family food basket I sponsored as well. I can not leave out Carrie, thanks for your support and all your help you are great.

No Pasco :(

Well my plans for Pasco Arena cross fell threw. I still plan on being at the second event and also the Redmond Arena cross. I am going elk hunting this weekend, so wish me luck.
So much is changing in my life right now, so fast I cant even think straight. I am totally trusting God to guide me in the right directions. I have to say Life is stress full for me, yet for the most part still good. I have tied a knot in my rope and I'm just hanging on for the ride.
I can not thank my family enough for their support, it is amazing and I love you guys so much.

Hey every one!
So now the 2010 out door is almost over and I think iv raced about 4 times(sad enough that is). I have not dun to bad considering the amount of riding I have done, or lack of. I had a ton of fun at the MOXIEMX, THURSDAY NIGHT MOTOCROSS RACE FOR A CURE. Where MOXIE MX also raised $5000 for the Coleman foundation. I came out with a disappointing 5th place finish
Who ever on a better note, I am down to about 183 pounds and feel great.
Woodland outdoor winter track is going to start soon. As well is the National Arena Cross, where i plan to try and race both of the Pasco,WA rounds and the one in Redmond,OR.
I once again can not give enough thanks to my Sponsors and friends at Moxie Mx, Pinnacle Suspension, FMF, Wrenegades Bar and Grill, and also Db photography (who edits my blog);)
Thanks to every one

WELCOME BACK

I'm back! I've been out of touch for about the last 5 months - I've been re-evaluating a lot. I sold my bike that I blew up in Pasco Arenacross as a rolling chasie, so I've been in motocross retirement so-to-speak.

In the meantime, here's what I have been up to:

I started working for FedEx Ground as a semi truck driver. I started in February. I also got an apartment in Milwaukie (SE Portland). Hit me up if you want to hang out/ bbq/ etc! And most recently...wait for it...I got another bike - thanks to Pinnacle Suspension! So now I'm on an '05 CRF 450. I've been riding a few times since and raced once at Thursday Night Motocross in Portland. I was very disappointed in my performance and have a lot of work to do!

I really want to thank all my friends and family for their support!

PASCO

Hey!
Well the Pasco round was fun. The whoops were bigger than any other track yet, but i like them. They are a strong point for me and lots of fun.
I made the main in my first qualifier with i think a 3rd.
My second qualifier i was leading for 2 or 3 laps. Then another rider had a very nice clean pass so instead of being aggressive and trying to stuff him we had a full lap of bar to bar racing. Going to fast in the whoops i could not reach my back brake and blew the berm, so i settled for last and went to my LCQ (last chance qualifier).
My next qualifier was the plus 25. The board turned sideways, the bike was rev ed up, the gate was ready to drop at any time. BANG!!! I blew the crank right threw the bottom of my motor and shattered the cases. Pushing my bike back to the pinnacle pit, we swapped out my number plates to their bike, and back to the line we went for the LCQ.
MAIN 1: This was interesting it was the BTH class. After the start i wound up in 3rd. One of the riders from the back of the pack made fast work and tyred to challenge me. So i made him go out side, made a little contact with him in the corner and he went down. The second place rider fell over on his own mistake costing him a position and put me in 2nd for the over all.
MAIN 2: Was the 450jr class. This is one of the more difficult classes I compete in. Having a bad start cuz of my gate pick, I made real fast work in the first 2 turns i found my self in a comfortable 3rd, Finishing out the race.
MAIN 3: This was the plus 25 race. More than less it was a give me win. Never to much competition in that class i won it start to finish. After a back to back moto I was pretty worn out. In front of the full house crowd i rolled to the top of a jump got the crowed to fire up a little the pitched my goggles in the crowd (it was real cool experience) and made some little kids day ;)

THANKS

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say thanks for all the help from my sponsors this past season. It was a great year, ending with a 1st and 4th place championship in the Northwest National Motocross series with the help from Pinnacle Suspension, Wrenegadepoker.com, Hyper-X and S&M Steelfab. I couldn't have done it without you! Thanks so much, I greatly appreciate your support.
I also would like to take the time to tell everyone that I am a Christan, and God has made huge movements in my life this last year. I also want to thank the big man upstairs for keeping me safe and opening new doors of opportunity with my sponsor MoxieMX. I absolutely cannot forget to thank my most amazing girlfriend for her support on and off the track (thank you honey).
I would like to let everyone know how much fun I had at Top Gun this last year. Thanks to all those who supported me in that as well.
After the diet I was on during that time and how good I felt, along with all the added energy, I decided to start a diet program again to kick off the new year and the 2010 race season. Speaking of the 2010 race season, we have added a couple of new sponsors: O'NEAL MX and FMF who have recently jumped on board. I look forward to putting some wins under their name as well.
Thanks everyone for reading and following up on me.
See you track side!
;)
